Description

Ocean Leopard is a legend, being one of the best known boats in both the Solent and Antigua, having smashed and held the Round the Island Record for several years in the early 90’s and other numerous records including Line Honours in the Round Britain race in the 90s.
She has been converted to a comfortable cruising and charter boat but she is still one of the fastest GRP cruising boats out there witnessed by her line honours win of this year's Round the island Race - First Classic Racing boat across the line, winning the Field Barnacle Cup.
Despite being quick she can be comfortably handled for cruising by a small amateur crew. She has cruised the World with many Atlantic crossings from the Med to Caribbean, Fiji to South Pacific Polynesia, Australia to New Zealand and Hawaii. She is equipped with a detachable hard top for comfortable Ocean Cruising.
Believed built to Lloyds in the late 80’s she has seen several extensive refits in 2001, 2005 and a mini refit in 2013 and represents amazing value for money for an 80 foot boat that will see off many other GRP cruising boats - and is ready to go out there and sail the World - without a full refit common for boats priced so low at this size.
The boat further offers amazing opportunities for Charter being in MSA code for 12 passengers and the potential, subject to contract with the marina, to maintain her current berth at Gunwharf Quays , with direct trains to London 5 minutes from her the berth.
This is a unique opportunity for a new Owner to own a famous head turning sailing boat for a low investment that will both cruise with ease and be competitive at any International classic yacht regatta.
