Welcome aboard the USCG Certified Schooner Wind Dancer, the exquisite 63 ft. 1988 Thomas Colvin Pipisstral Schooner. She represents one of Thomas Colvin's finest designs and is now offered in superb condition and ready for the next adventure.
Schooner Wind Dancer is holding a current COI and is certified for 21 Souls, 18 passengers and 3 crew. Built in 1988 at Steel Yachts Inc. Miss. Wind Dancer has sailed four Atlantic crossings and has an original home port of Houston, Texas. Under the present ownership she has undergone modern fitting and has meet all criteria for USCG approval. She is a double gaff-rigged topsail Schooner with 22 bronze portholes that have been painted with Bronze colored Awl-Grip and are maintenance free. Her hull shape is Hard Chine and her decks are beautiful Snow White Alwgrip with Sayre Blue Alwgrip nonskid. She has teak boxes and trim with a center cockpit that showcases a nautical compass. She comfortably carries 21 passengers and her aft deck has wrap around seating for 12 with a comfortable bench seat.
Wind Dancer Charters commissioned new custom deck sails by Campbell and Hunter in 2012 Main, Four main, Stay sail and Jib, they are in excellent condition. She also has a storm jib old but classic canvas in good condition, Big Jib is old but no tears, Square Sail for the Yardarm and Fisherman in good shape.
Schooner Wind Dancer has a classic interior that has been beautifully maintained, it is nice and bright with the port lights and deck hatches. In the Salon there is plenty of room for guest with two couches and wrap around dining seating. The table can also be configued into a queen size bed. The galley is forward of the main cabin and has a microwave, stove, double stainless sink and plenty of storage space. The head is forward of the galley on the port side that has a roomy separate shower on the starboard across from the head is a bar with storage. The bow has a collision bulkhead with an anchor chain locker and ladder up to the forward deck hatch. The configuration of the living spaces are very functional and makes for comfortable quarters.

She has a Captains quarters (aft stateroom) with two bunks and a customn built in desk and chart table. the aft stateroom has lots of ambiet light with portholes and two deck hatches.
The main cabin has two couches that can be utilized for sleeping and a dinette that can be converted to a queen size bed. Wind Dancer comfortably sleeps 5.
