According to the Westerly Owner?s Association ?The joy of a Fulmar lies in the sailing performance and handling, it is extremely rare to find a yacht which is both fast and supremely easy to handle under sail and power. One does not really have to sail a Fulmar, one just lays a hand on the tiller and lets the boat take care of everything else, which she does without appreciable effort.?
This boat is no exception, this is a one family boat! Its been passed down since its original commissioning in 1984 and the family is having a tough time parting as they have enjoyed the boat so much, but a new boat requires one to go. Don't be fooled by its size, JoLynne has made several trips to the Bahamas and back. The bilge keel makes for great clearance, and if the tide rolls out on you while at anchor she will stay upright. Great way to clean your bottom!
Not always is one owner a blessing, but in this case it is! All of the upholstery and woodwork is like new.
