The Pioneer 10 is a solidly built powerful cruiser built by Southern Ocean Shipyard, although overshadowed by the Contessa 32. They combine excellent performance with good accommodation. This example has been well maintained including new keel bolts in 2011 and recent electronics. A good opportunity to acquire a successful cruiser racer at a price well below the Contessa.
The accommodation offers up to five berths in two cabins with full standing headroom. Forward cabin with V berths with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Full width heads compartment with Jabsco sea toilet to port, with pull-out washbasin and stowage above. Hanging locker opposite to starboard. Saloon with settee berths port and starboard with stowage under and above. Fixed table with folding leaves. Navigation area aft to port with quarter berth aft with stowage above and below. Galley opposite to starboard with Plastimo Neptune 2000 two burner cooker with oven and grill. Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply. Coolbox. Good stowage above and below. Steps up to self draining cockpit with seating with stowage under. Full interior lighting.

Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to semi-balanced, skeg hung rudder. Aft self draining cockpit. Teak coachroof rails. New keel bolts 2011. Hull epoxied 2002.
