The Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 is the newly launched upgrade to the 2012 Oceanis 41, and features a wider cockpit plus a fold-down bathing platform at the stern. In addition, the rigging profile has been altered to create a more balanced helm and the designers have reduced the boat's overall weight by around 600kg. Take a look at the Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 video below to see all of these features for yourself.

The new design sees an increase in the headsail area and a corresponding decrease in the mainsail area. Customers can choose between a self-tacking jib or overlapping genoas. In standard layout, the traveller is fed to an arch, which keeps the cockpit clear and there is a performance package available that features a German main sheeting system.

With the addition of optional laminate sails, the performance improvements on the new Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 should be quite noticeable over the previous Oceanis 40 model.
