    Nordhavn

This line of true, ocean-going passage-makers is offered by Pacific Asian Enterprises in Dana Point, California, which closely supervises the production of the power yachts in Taiwan. Nordhavns are full-displacement motor vessels with exceptional range and seakeeping ability. There are currently 16 boats in the fleet from the Nordhavn 40 to the 120-foot flagship – but every one of them is built stout and tough and designed to punch through heavy head seas and track down swells as if on rails.Nordhavns attract owners with serious cruising plans and those who are extremely comfortable on extended blue water transits. It’s a reputation well supported by Nordhavn’s heritage. In 1989, for instance, the Nordhavn N46 debuted as the first production passage-maker and after selling more than 80 of these groundbreaking hulls, many of them still carry their current owners to all corners of the globe today.

Nordhavn Motorsailer

The Nordhavn 56 Motorsailer is the perfect boat for those who still like to sail, but who enjoy the comforts and ease of a trawler.  Hull #9 is a 50-cycle boat and prime to explore the waters of Europe and beyond. She was styled by designers at Nordhavn in gorgeous teak with a teak and spruce sole, and tastefully decorated in a cream and charcoal grey color scheme.

“Nordhavn 56 Hull #9” is new to the US market after being used as a model introductory boat in Europe. She has been factory maintained and comes complete with new boat warranties as she has never been sold. Hull #9 was built without the exterior sailing cockpit giving the boat a larger amidship area down below.

This boat is actively for sale as she has completed all of her duties as an introductory boat in both "Old England" (Europe) and her in "New England".

Tour of the Boat:

The interior of “Nordhavn 56 Hull # 9” is teak with a satin finish. All living spaces are heated or cooled using a CruiseAir AC system with individual unit controls (four zones - Saloon, Owners Stateroom, Galley, Guest Staterooms). Floors are teak & spruce soles throughout the boat.

Main Saloon:

The main saloon is accessed from the stern of the boat through a large Dutch door with glass windows in both the top and bottom of the door. There is a large settee and table to starboard with two barrel chairs to port. Behind the barrel chairs there is storage and an area allocated for a TV lift. This layout allows for easy access through the saloon and is a great space for entertaining.

Helm Area:

At the forward of the saloon is the helm area which includes the command station for the vessel. This area provides a panoramic view of the boat and her surroundings and is comfortable in all weather. The boat is easily handled from this area since along with the engine control, there are bow and stern thrusters. A Stidd chair complements the area along with the chart table and two chart drawers to the right side of the helm.
