Wooden Ships Comments
Designed by the well known Alan Pape and built by his good friend and famous Cornish boat builder Clifford Adams in 2005-2006. Pape designed the boat and gave the plans as a gift to Adams' daughter and son-in-law who had the boat built a while later. They are the current owners and have used her every summer since the launch.
Influenced by the great Riva motor boats, she was designed as a fast runabout for the Cornish coast, she is stable, comfortable and fast, with a top speed of 38 knots. The layout offers a lot of space with seating for 9 people plus a cockpit table. Built with a hard chine hull making her stable even at speed.
Fitted with an economical diesel engine from new, fuel consumption is a pleasing 2 gallons/hour at cruising speed meaning a day out to the beach will not break the bank.
This type of boat is not a common sight around our coasts and she turns heads wherever she goes. The boat comes with a full winter cover, heavy duty road trailer and all the fitted cushions so she is ready to get afloat this summer and enjoy the sunshine
