Condition

In water survey preformed August 21, 2015 Last Surveyed August 2015 for insurance purposes. Last Hauled & Complete Dry Dock preformed January 2012. The bottom is not due to be done until late 2017 Last under water inspection July 2015 Super structure & coating is generally good. Hull shows some slight battering & scrapes. Some corrosion above & below the water line. Will need a new load line certificate & New COI from the USCG. The ABS is expired in 2015. The seller did not want to make a decision on what to class it as. It is open to classification. Plus, if this is going international, it doesn't need the ABS classification. The life boats & the fire systems like fire extinguishers will have to be certified as some of the certifications have expired & are due on a yearly basis. The ship comes with the original manual & all of the ships records & dry dock binders full of the updates that were done. Seller said any engineer that reports on this boat will be very happy with it. He believes the condition of the boat is in top shape. It just needs a crew & it is ready to for a voyage. Many of the T-AGOS Ships have hand their engineering systems upgraded to digital. This still has an analog system. It is still capable of running the ship well. The engineering system is between the main motor room & the Main Generator room. There is an estimate of around $500,000 US to change engineering system to digital. Will take approx. four months. The ships engineer said she is fully operational as of October 2016. The resilient mounts look like they may need to be changed out. According to the Boat manual they are to be changed out on a regular basis(Every 7 Years). They may be due. According to the crew, there is one thing unknown on the ship. it did not happen very much, one of the engines has lost power & breaker would have to be re set & they could continue. The boat sold before the crew could solve it. Other than that happening a couple of times, the boat always ran excellent. The previous contractor who was in charge of the ship thinks that once a crew was back aboard, the ship could be cleaned up in thirty days. Paint is available. If it is bad at least all the paint codes are available. There will have to be some rust abatement & some welding done. One of the locker doors on the back deck needs a hing re welded. Many of the ships interior lights are out. The care taker is in the process of changing the light bulbs. The boat is like a small town. The light pole on the bow will most likely need to be rebuilt. It has seen better days. One of the legs on the tripod has rusted, so it is standing on two legs. It holds the three white bow lights. The waste tanks were emptied in the Fall of 2016 The bridge air conditioning should be serviced & the main walk in fridge & freezer may need to be serviced just because it has not been used in a couple years.
