The luxurious Broom 395 is just as at home cruising inland waterways as it is taking to the open seas.  The versatile aft cabin layout ensures you will be at ease both on river and at sea, without compromising on living space whilst relaxing in the harbour.  Optimised to provide supreme comfort and convenience, the proven hull and superstructure are complemented by contemporary deck styling features and interior design.  Aft cabin boats offer the advantage of a sheltered helm position, without the need to duplicate equipment, and can be opened up in good weather using our easy-fold canopy system.  Wide side decks allow for easy and safe access to the foredeck, and for those that love to entertain there is the option to add a cockpit barbeque, drawer fridge and recessed all-weather sun-pads on the foredeck. The 395 promotes sleek design and bespoke styling, whilst retaining all the practical features you would expect from a Broom boat.  One clever design feature is the provision of a sumptuous master suite fitted with panoramic transom windows and separate ensuite washroom and shower rooms.  A wide choice of fabrics and finishes allows a completely bespoke approach to creating stylish living quarters to suit all tastes. Optional saloon skylights, mood lighting and the latest in home entertainment systems create a thoroughly luxurious cruising experience. There is a choice of two layout options, the standard dinette and the optional split galley and a number of engine options to choose from. The boat displayed at the show features the optional split galley layout and a classic interior featuring hardwood furniture and beautiful soft lines and rounded edges. The Arcona 400 has been the most popular boat in the Arcona range since her introduction at the Stockholm Boat Show in 2001, where she was she was awarded Boat of the Year. With stunning modern looks, technically-advanced construction, and performance to die for, she optimises cruising and racing and is easily sailed by a short-handed crew. Structurally, Arconas are built to withstand the toughest of sea conditions. At the heart of their build lies a substantial galvanised steel cross frame to which the mast, rigging, and keel are firmly attached. This cradle takes all the dynamic loads on the hull, which can consequently be made lighter to improve her performance under sail. The hull and decks are made from 20mm-thick Divinycell foam, sandwiched between a tough water resistant multi-axial polyester laminate. The bulk heads and interior are laminated to the hull and deck to give additional strength and rigidity. The level of craftsmanship throughout reflects our Swedish roots. Below decks the Arcona 400 offers: beautiful Khaya Mahogany varnished to a high satin finish, a high level of interior comfort, a spacious and bright saloon, different cabin layouts, a well-fitted galley, generous chart table, and a heads compartment with a shower and wet-clothes locker. Designed for family living despite her racing credentials, the Arcona 400 offers 2 or 3 cabin versions and 1 or 2 toilets. In summary, she is an all-round winner, blending together enviable speed, ease of handling, and total comfort. Indeed the Arcona 400 effectively sums up what the Arcona experience is all about.
