HARDY 65A SEA-GOING MOTOR YACHT WITH LITTLE SHIP CHARACTERISTICS The flagship of the Hardy range, this stunning semi-displacement Andrew Wolstenholme design brings ‘little ship’ characteristics to the motor yacht market, making the Hardy 65 ideal for the serious cruising yachtsman. Capable of up to 30 knots from a twin 1,200hp installation, her standard MAN 800hp engines will give 25 knots, with quiet, comfortable, effortless cruising in just about any weather conditions. Engine controls are located in the wheelhouse, flybridge and aft deck and 6,100 litres of fuel can be carried – another indication that this motor yacht is built to go places. The expansive flybridge deck, which is accessed from the aft deck and directly from the wheelhouse, offers various seating and dining areas, with plenty of space left over to stow a RIB. The aft deck is laid out to suit al fresco dining and leads through double doors to a light, bright saloon. Various layouts are possible, including having the galley just aft of the wheelhouse, or at the lower accommodation level. Sleeping accommodation typically comprises three double en-suite cabins, with the owner’s stateroom comfortably positioned amidships and flooded with light through four large hull windows. Below the aft deck, and accessed via a door in the aft superstructure, the lazarette area can be fitted with crew accommodation and also serves as a utility/workshop area. A watertight door leads through to a proper engine room that has standing headroom and easy maintenance access to all equipment. The Hardy 65 is built on a semi-custom basis allowing buyers to optimize both the interior layout and finishing of their yachts to precisely match their cruising requirements and tastes.

Ferretti Yachts 650 is the first in a series of models that are bound to set a new functional and technical standard for the “Yachts” product line below 70 feet in length. Developed thanks to the cooperation between the Product Strategy Committee, Ferretti Group’s Marketing Department, AYT&D - Advanced Yachts Technology & Design, and Studio Zuccon International Project, the project draws inspiration from the Ferretti 620. The Ferretti Yacht 650 immediately strikes the eye for its extensively renovated profile. Its outer silhouette is characterised by an aerodynamic flybridge and new fibreglass decorative elements that “cut” through the profile of the glazing in the superstructure. An unprecedented decoration connects the windows of the three cabins below deck. The slender lines are further enhanced by the yacht’s aft area, specifically designed to ensure easy and safe storage and launch of the tender while increasing the guests' onboard comfort. A tender lift has been developed, capable of lifting an over-3-metre-long tender that can be lowered into the water by a metre with respect to its original position, thereby allowing the vessel to be davit-free: a valuable attribute which provides an incredible amount of additional living space. As is the case on all models in the range, on this 65-footer the shipyard is proposing alternative layouts both on the sundeck – which also comes in the hard-top version – and inside the boat. Ferretti has designed a “TaiHe Dian” edition of the 650, devoted in particular to owners from select markets in the Asia-Pacific. This special edition features areas on board which are exclusively dedicated towards entertainment and business related functions The main deck is a true open space forward until the windshield, functional and extensively renovated in terms of furnishings and décor. The galley is completely open: this solution allows to fully exploit this room as a large bar area opening onto the stern and towards the dining and living areas, further contributing to a sense of volume and making living onboard even more enjoyable. The underdeck layout includes three double cabins and three separate heads. In the “TaiHe Dian” edition, the main difference is that the galley is on the lower deck replacing the starboard guest cabin, and on the upper deck there is a large dinette. The central part of the salon as well as the two main cabins and third head have remained unchanged. With Ferretti Yachts 650, the brand goes back to installing engines produced by Caterpillar. The boat is equipped with a pair of CAT C18: in the standard engine configuration - a pair of 1015 mhp C18 engines – the FY650 can indeed reach a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. The optional engines (1150 mhp), in turn, can push the yacht to a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 33 knots. The range is 275 and 245 nautical miles, respectively, at maximum speed, and 310 and 290 nautical miles, respectively, at cruising speed (preliminary data).

Available for ordering and new boat construction for delivery next year. The Hallberg-Rassy 64 is the greatest boat ever built by Hallberg-Rassy. The enormous 8.6 cubic meter aft deck lockers may store a RIB dinghy. There is a large hydraulic fold out bathing platform. The deck is clean and uncluttered. An optional gangway can be totally retracted into the lazarette. The cockpit is unusually large; 3.10 m long, that’s 55 cm longer than on the Hallberg-Rassy 62. There is a large, fixed, teak cockpit table. All essential sailing control functions are handled from the cockpit by a single sailor using the push of buttons already as standard equipment. The washboards are elegantly and easily lowered into a hidden storage. The cockpit is very well protected by the Hallberg-Rassy typical soft top wind screen or hard top. Below deck living areas have lots of natural light. All in all there are no less than thirty-one (31) portlights and deck hatches in the boat. The engine room is large, has space for lots of technical equipment, is well sound insulated and allows for easy maintenance. The engine is unusually well sized, even for a Hallberg-Rassy. It is a 6 cylinder Volvo Penta D6-300 with 300 HP. Tanks are generous too for long range with 1 800 liters of diesel fuel and 1 300 liters of fresh water. Frers speed prediction diagram says the boat will achieve 9.2 knots boat speed at 10 knots of true wind and 75 degrees wind angle, and 11.5 knots of boat speed with just mainsail and traditional foresail in 25 knots of true wind at 110 degrees wind angle. This yacht is a true mile eater.
